![]() Now that I have experience building, I know that those suckers actually require a good b it of force to mount!īesides that, installation was a breeze. I actually had to wipe off the pre-applied thermal paste and re-apply my own because I could not for the life of me get one of the screws to start, and I ended up messing the stuff that was pre-applied up by trying to re-seat it after pulling it off. ![]() I will admit that- depending on your case and motherboard- the CPU fan is a pain to seat properly onto the CPU. Do yourself a favor and go with AMD if you choose to build a PC unless Intel decides to do some groundbreaking stuff in the coming months. Runs just as well (And sometimes better) as Intel. The ease of use is amplified by my other components, but the CPU by itself is fantastic.
